By downloading, installing, or using the RanaWallet mobile application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
RanaWallet is a prepaid electricity vending platform that allows users in Nigeria to purchase electricity tokens via a digital wallet. The Service includes wallet funding, electricity token purchases, transaction history, and related features.
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Nigeria to use the Service. By using RanaWallet, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You can fund your RanaWallet via bank transfer, card payment, or virtual account. Funds in your wallet can only be used to purchase electricity tokens through the Service. Wallet balances are not interest-bearing and are not insured deposits.
All transactions are processed in Nigerian Naira (NGN). Applicable service charges and VAT are displayed before you confirm any purchase.
When you purchase an electricity token, RanaWallet processes your request through the relevant electricity distribution company (DisCo). Token delivery depends on the availability of the DisCo's vending system.
If a token cannot be generated, your wallet will be refunded automatically. Successfully generated tokens cannot be reversed, as they are processed by the DisCo.
Failed transactions are refunded automatically to your wallet. For successfully generated tokens, refunds are subject to the policies of the relevant electricity distribution company. Contact our support team for assistance with refund requests.

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control, including DisCo system outages.
RanaWallet is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid through the Service in the 30 days preceding the claim.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by electricity distribution companies, payment processors, or network outages.
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with RanaWallet are owned by RanaWallet and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting our support team. Any remaining wallet balance will be refunded to your bank account.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Abuja, Nigeria.
